First day in Prague

The first day of the 4-day tour of Prague you will visit the most essential of the historic center (Stare Mesto) and the Jewish quarter (Josefov). In Stare Mesto is the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock, the tower of the Old Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady of Týn, one of the best places to visit in Prague.
From the square you can approach the Jewish quarter to visit some of the most interesting synagogues such as the Old-New Synagogue and the Spanish Singagogue in addition to the Old Cemetery.

Old Jewish Cemetery

After the route through the Jewish quarter, you will return to the center of Prague to enter the Clementium library, wander through the streets Karlova, Celetná and those around the Old Town Square, to the Powder Tower. While the city is illuminated we recommend a walk along the Vltava river with the Charles Bridge and the Castle as great references.
A good option to learn more about the history of this neighborhood and of the whole city is to book this complete tour of Prague or this free tour of Prague Free!, Both with a guide in Spanish.
And as you can not forget one of the stomach, in the center you have several recommended restaurants to try Czech food such as U Zlateho Fairy or the U Fleku.
The first day you can end it with a cruise on the Vltava River with dinner or watching the play Aspects of Alice, at the Ta Tantantaika black theater.

What to see in Prague in 4 days

For the last day of Prague in 4 days, if you have completed all the visits of the previous 3 days we recommend you visit one of the most essential places to see in the Czech Republic that are near the city.
Near Prague you have several places that are worth knowing as the beautiful city of Kutna Hora or the moving Terezin Concentration Camp.
These two tours, considered among the best excursions in Prague, will take you around 5 hours so you can take advantage of the afternoon to stroll through the historic center and buy the latest souvenirs, such as typical puppets or the famous Bohemian crystal.
To end the day we recommend you have a good Czech beer and listen to good jazz in AghaRTA, one of the best nightclubs in Prague.

Kutna Hora stands out for its historic center, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with beautiful cobbled streets and colorful houses. Other essential visits in the city are the impressive Gothic Cathedral of Santa Barbara and the Chapel of Corpus Christi. Although the visit that surprised us the most and we remembered was that of the Sedlec Ossuary, a chapel with lots of sculptures and decorative objects made with human bones.
To get to Kutna Hora you can do it by train from Prague Central Station, after a journey of about 50 minutes.
Another good option is to book a guided tour in Spanish by bus.

The Terezín Concentration Camp, 60 kilometers from Prague is another excursion to know the history and barbarism of Nazism, in which 150,000 Jews, mostly Czechs, were locked in this field.
To get to Terezín you can take a bus from Nadrazi Holesovice station, easily accessible by subway and the journey time does not arrive on time.
Another more comfortable option is to book a guided tour in Spanish that leaves the city center.

Terezín Concentration Camp

Further away from Prague is the spa town of Karlovy Vary, one of the places we visited during our trip to the Czech Republic by rental car and which we highly recommend.
This city famous for its thermal and medicinal waters, has a historic center divided by the Ohře River where its pastel-colored houses marvel.
Being 130 kilometers away from Prague and being a bigger city, you will need a full day to visit it, something that should be taken into account when planning the day.
You can arrive by bus from Florenc station, after a journey of about two hours.
A good alternative is to book a private transport tour with a guide in Spanish.
For more information we recommend you read this post on how to go from Prague to Karlovy Vary.

Karlovy Vary

Another excursion may be to our favorite town in Prague: Cesky Krumlov. With its medieval old town, a World Heritage Site, it is one of the most beautiful in Europe and one of the visits that we recommend not to miss.
It is a delight to walk through its streets and squares full of Renaissance buildings, until you reach the castle where its baroque theater stands out. From Na Knizeci station there are buses that will take you in less than 3 hours to Cesky Krumlov.
Another good option is to book a guided tour in Spanish by private transport.
For more information on the transfer you can consult this post on how to go from Prague to Cesky Krumlov.
