In our passage through the historic city of Anuradhapura we have stayed in the Thilaka Holiday Home. Actually they are two different buildings, and we spent one night in each of them.
The first is of those hotels where you would spend a complete vacation. We stayed in a huge room, with TV, air conditioning and extremely comfortable beds. It also has direct access to the garden and the restaurant in case you are afraid of the hallways.
There are several well-kept garden areas where you can relax in the shade of a mangotero reading a book or resting after a long day of visiting.
But best of all is the back garden, with the super pool! It's nice to be able to take a dip and cool off with these temperatures. You can also take a sun session, but be careful not to be too much or you will become a strawberry of Huelva.
In addition the restaurant is very good, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner
The second night we spent at the other hotel, something simpler but with the same good attention as the first. They got us a trusted tuktuk to visit the city and have always been attentive to us.
It is a very good option to stay in Anuradhapura.
