This getaway led us to enjoy a weekend in the Vall de Boí, an area of the most beautiful we have in Catalonia.
The first day of the weekend in the Vall de Boí we leave from Tàrrega to the Vall, to visit the National Park of Aigüestortes and make a route through the Romanesque churches of the Valley.
On the second day we enjoy the Aigüestortes National Park, which we arrive in 4 × 4 and where we take a small walking tour surrounded by the most spectacular landscapes.
We start in the Sant Nicolau River Valley and continue to the Estany de la Llebreta, a magnificent forest and the spectacular waterfall of Sant Esperit where we arrive after a good walk.
After another walk, we arrive at Estany Llong where we make one of the stops along the way to rest and enjoy a picnic in the middle of nature.
After a good rest and a good desktop we continue with our weekend walk in the Vall de Boí and arrive at the Estany de Sant Maurici, which will be the end point of our tour today.
Before returning to the hotel we visit the town of Taüll and its other Romanesque church Santa Maria de Taüll.
On the last day of our weekend in the Vall de Boí on the way to Tàrrega, we visited some of the Romanesque Churches in the area.
