How to get
the best way to get to The Shard in London, located near the Tower Bridge, is using the effective London underground. A few meters from the entrance of the viewpoint you have the London Bridge stop, through which the Northern (black) and Jubilee (gray) lines pass and will leave you practically at the door of The Shard.
In case you don't want to take the subway, you can arrive in the typical double-decker bus, taking lines 43, 48, 141, 149 or 521.

The The Shard viewpoint in London It is open every day of the year, from 10am to 10pm during the summer months. On Sundays and other months of the year you can close sooner, so we recommend you check the schedule and keep in mind that the last access is an hour and a half before closing.
The price of The Shard is 32 pounds if you buy the ticket directly at the box office on the ground floor although a good option to save a few pounds is to book this ticket in advance, which allows you to choose the access time of the day you have chosen, something very important if you want to make the visit in high season or weekend, considering that it is one of the most visited places in London and long lines are usually formed.

Once you pass the security control of this pyramid building, you will go up a fast elevator that will take you in a few seconds to the 68th floor, the first of the platforms, since The Shard viewpoint is divided into three floors (68, 69 and 72), all with fantastic 360-degree panoramic views of London, always through glass.
The first two are completely closed, while the 72 is uncovered by the highest part, which ends in the shape of a needle and is the most iconic area of the viewpoint and where there are several tables and chairs next to the windows where you can have a drink while you enjoy of the best views of London.
